I've always believed that there is a distinct difference between remaining positive and being overly optimistic. It's a very very fine line that we all must tread in times like these. However, Thrashers Fans needs to be realist. It's depressing to say that, but we all really need to be. I've come to terms with the fact if we don't start winning now, there might not be any hope for the future. Does that mean I'm going to stop going to the games and cheering for the team to win? No. Because I could go to every game this season and they could lose and I will still go and love my team. And love is a very fine line too. Don't mistake anything I say for hating the Team. Unless I actually hate the team, which I would never say.
I didn't even get to see the game last night because I had to work until ten. My dad went. He said that they played better...than what? They got more goals, right? He said that they were more organized than before, but even my Aunt who has never been to a hockey game could tell that the Thrashers were disheveled. I'm just...very depressed about this, and I would like to write more later when I have time. So, stay tuned. There will be more later.

What we need is a miracle.
Okay, so it's not the best start. And yeah, I should have posted this last week (sorry, life gets in the way). Let's go to Opening Night.
Sorry to the people that sat around me and my dad...mostly me. I need to tone it down...And guy in front of me, there were actually 81 games left in the season, not 79 when you told me to take it down a notch. Just thought I would mention it. However, my voice is still shot from Friday, so when you see me at the SENS game tomorrow (Even though I shouldn't go because I have a Russian test on Thursday...), I will not be yelling that loudly. And THANK YOU to the guys sitting on my right, for helping find the nacho cheese covered cell phone. Go section 118!
That's that wrap up, let's talk about the game. How about them Crapitals?...Capitals. I was sad. I was so sad. Weren't we all. I believe the phrase "skates in the mud" applied to this game. And really...the refs? If anything, that completely hindered the performance. So many penalties on the Thrashers. I think we can all agree that there were not NEARLY enough on the Capitals. I'm not just saying that because I'm a Thrashers fan, I just...everyone caught several things that should have been called. Or things that should not have been called. Am I right? I think so.
I don't like the Kozlov-Holik-Hossa line. Since I was working during the Sparks game, I missed it, but my dad said something about that line not playing anymore. We'll see what happens.
So, the Sens game...well, I just read the AJC.com article concerning Marian Hossa's groin injury. Fantastic, isn't it? My dad is going to kill me for saying this, but this isn't the "Hossanators". I have faith. At least a little.
What we need now is a miracle from the hockey gods, right? It's not like we've lost 14 games in a row...or anything. Let's keep the hope alive. BELIEVE IN BLUELAND. (That Might have sounded really pessimistic...but I'm really not!)

Preseason Game!
Wow. Did I ever luck out? Somehow, my dad got preseason tickets to the Thrashers' game tomorrow night and someone at work took my extra hour tomorrow. The hockey gods must be smiling upon me. I mean, I just can't sit around and watch the tiny clip of Marian Hossa on the Commercial for the "Center Ice" Package. You know, the one that's overcrowded by the images for the NY Rangers.
Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm going to the game tomorrow?
See you there.

Training Camp: Day One
Okay, I won't lie. I couldn't make it. I didn't feel like going alone! I had to work...I could make excuses, but hands down: We all know I'm shy and I won't dare go and watch by myself. I'm just too big of a wimp. Even though I DESPERATELY need one of those new jerseys. KOZLOV please.
Me missing training camp aside (And I can't go tomorrow! I've planned a Study session for my Russian Class. Yes, I am taking Russian), I finally bought my tickets for opening night game! Section 211, less than a month away! Are you excited? I know I am! Let's just hope I can get off work that day. It seems like my manager....doesn't want to give me time off. But I'll be damned if I spent 130 dollars on two tickets and I don't get to go because of THE GAP. Seriously.

Why do you have to leave?
Or why did I leave. For a short period of time anyway...guess what world, Looters Jr. is back (with a steady cash flow)! So, after my last post I a.) got a job, b.) started school and c.) my family is STILL trying to sell our house. I need to take pictures of my room. It's blue.
So, for those of you interested, My silver 2002 Honda Accord is parked outside of The Gap at The Avenue at Webb Gin in Snellville at least 3 days a week. If you want to pay a visit. I also am downtown on the GSU campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m.-5:15p.m. I have lunch free...You know, if you want to talk hockey and I'm not busy with my Russian homework.
Okay, so beyond that...I'm back! How interesting right? This is just a little update, letting you know that I might be at the practice at Duluth on the 14th. Just to buy a jersey. Ya'll know I'm shy.

Prospect Camp.
Alright, after a little encouragement from Robbie Dee, I have given thought to going to prospect camp tomorrow, sans Looters Sr. You know, if I can get out of my car and go inside (for some reason I am SO shy...). It all really depends, because I would love nothing more than to go there, freeze, and watch the prospects do their thing. So, if you read, or even care to come say hi to me while I'm there, I'm the one with the 2002 silver Honda accord with the "Thrashers Girl" front license plate. You know, it could happen. So, if you see the car, and you're a reader, say hi. Don't get your hopes but...you know.
