I would like to chat about the lack of faith on the Atlanta Thrashers Community boards. Really! "The future is uncertain!" "Who loses in the playoffs 7-0?" "We should sign Marcel Hossa!"
First of all, of course the Future is uncertian, even if we made it to the second round it would be uncertain, don't you think? We'd still have the same amount of free agents and we'd sooner or later have to deal with the problem expereinced in the first round. Really, did you honestly think it wasn't going to catch up with us? It's like me putting off a project, I can just pretend I doesn't exist, but sooner or later I have to handle it. Especially if I would like to pass.
Second of all, we lose 7-0 in the playoffs. The Thrashers do. You watched it. I watched it. It happened. Stop talking about it and let it go. And besides, us fans have more than one reason to dislike the Rangers. I know one of them is Sean Avery...and I'm pretty sure the second one is that they beat us and that some of us are so ashamed that we have hidden in our nests. I mean, not me, because life goes on right? Stop dwelling.
And no, we should not sign Marcel Hossa. Just No. I mean, what's that even about? Do you know how confused that would make me? Staring at the ice for three hours on my tiny t.v. hurts my eyes enough, and it was hard to keep track of which Hossa was doing what when. And really, is he even a free agent? It just doesn't matter.
I think some Thrashers Fan are just thinking too much about next season. Go. With. The. Flow. Somehow, somehow, it will work out.

IHWC
Well, as I started up Firefox today, Atlantathrashers.com popped up (Seriously, are you surprised that it's my homepage?). I read the "Thrashers By The Numbers" which I really enjoyed. I think things like that are so interesting, especially since there were stats on everyone. Reading it made me really proud to be a Thrashers fan. Not like I ever lost faith or stopped being proud of the Thrashers, it's just nice to have that little boost.
After reading that I clicked on "Kari and Kovy in Russia" and was, happily brought to the IHWC page. Both Finland and Russia won their games. AND. Kovy had a goal. However, Kari did not play, but hey, whatever you have to do to win right? So, while I was there, I checked out Slovakia's Roster. No Hossa, he's on the Entry List though. Just thought that was interesting with all this "Hossa's injuried" thing that's going around. We'll see what happens. Dad was right though, he hasn't been the same since that one hit. Maybe he just needs rest, sometimes that's best you know?
But despite all of that, it will be something interesting to follow. A little more interesting that what Sean Avery says on a daily basis on what he's going to do to who. Oh Sean Avery, will you ever learn? I'm just waiting for the Sabres to get it over with, because for some reason Crashing the Net on NHL.com can't stop talking about the Thrashers and the performance. Does it ever end? Next season could get here a little bit faster...
Off to Hockeyland,
