Kari is BACK!!

So, I am rather pleased with Kari being back in goal. Gosh, I'm gonna sound like such a Puck Bunny, but when he looked so sad on the bench during game two...I wanted to give him a hug. Sorry, He's like a goalie bear or something. Please don't stop reading this blog because I'm 19 and am allowed to say Kari Lehtonen is cute.

Hehehe. No worries. I like Kari a lot! And I'm with you. We went to practice last Friday, and my son was watching him and waved. Kari waved back. I don't know if he made Max's day or mine more. :)
My mom who saw the game on TV said the same thing...that he looked so sad on Saturday.

I would have been happy if Moose got the call, b/c I think he's excellent. But I'll gladly let Kari prove himself - to himself, BH, his teammates, and all the fans!

BTW, kudos on your blog. I'm a new fan to the hockey and the Thrashers, and I thouroughly enjoy reading yours!

Thank you so much!!! I am a pretty new fan too, just as recent as Oct. of this year. I needed to keep my sanity, since no one likes hockey here (Columbus, GA). I'm so glad someone reads!! My mom is going to say it's a sign from god for me to be a sports journalist (because it's so much more stable than being an actor. :D )

I have to say, I was watching on TV too, and he just looked like he was crying or was going to cry. I was just like "Awww!!!" And if Kari waved to me, I would have probably fainted.

I have to say, I expect Moose back in the goal soon, if not game 4. Especially if something goes wrong with Kari. I don't foresee that happening though, because he's out to, like you said, prove something to everyone, but mostly to himself.

Thank you so much for reading!!

That's funny. I'm a fan as of Nov. when I went to my first game. It was so exciting, that I've been hooked ever since.

Hey, maybe it is a sign. You have an easy, flowing style that brings a reader right in, so I can definitely see you becoming a journalist.

Well, I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about after tomorrow!
