Well, it seems that once again, DWad was pulled through for the Thrashers. An excellent deal he made Kozlov, who we all know had to consider his family when thinking of moving to Dallas. Eat that Texas! (Sorry, My boyfriend's a Stars and Avs man, I kinda gotta hate on'em)
It was perfect timing too. My dad and I walked up and down Stone Mountain today, and we had a nice heart-to-heart about hockey and the Thrashers. What kept coming up was "What happens if we can't sign Kozzy?" and also "If you don't have good 3rd and 4th lines, all you have is your two stars up front and then nothing happens." or some of "Bet you someone will be screaming 'Wish we had Sutton out there!' next season." Ten bucks it's my dad. We got home at (around) 12:30, he checks tsn.ca...and within seconds I'm jumping up and down with joy. Look, believe it or not, you have a lot of energy after climbing a "mountain", and I could hardly contain my Slava Kozlov-fueled excitement. Don't sue me that I might have been a little more vocal than mostly. Okay...so now I'm a little tired. I had a great 4th, and you?
